The Handy Foundation is a non-profit organization on a mission to bridge the diversity and equity gap in the TV & film industry. To date the foundation has secured over 100 post production jobs for BIPOC TV and Film Professionals. The foundation has also trained 89 Assistant Editors through the Assistant Editor Training Program, sponsored by our generous donors and supporters. In 2023, The Handy Foundation plans to increase impact and outreach by expanding our pathways with our Virtual Production, Audio Mixing, DIT, Hair and Make-up, and Writer's Assistant programs.
