PROGRAM

MEDIA ARTS EDUCATION & MENTORING

VISUAL STORYTELLING CERTIFICATE 160-hour, paid Visual Storytelling, Production, and Post-Production Certificate (ages 18-24), develops creative and technical knowledge and skills, preparing graduates for real-world experiences, such as paid internships that start them on their creative career pathway.

EDITING PRE-APPRENTICESHIP (State of California Registered) Paid 480-hour Digital Video Editing Pre-Apprenticeship for young people with a serious interest in editing—whether for film, television, short-form content, or animation—and ready to commit to it as a career pathway. Students from both our Certificate and Pre-Apprenticeship programs graduate with Adobe Certification, with editing pre-apprentices also gaining work-ready competencies with Avid, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and more. Students also work with Venice Arts' Creative Career Counselor, and program graduates have the opportunity to be placed in paid internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level jobs. They also continue to access free Master Classes and related learning activities as program alum.
